Write to your MP
You can help us put pressure on politicians by contacting your Member of Parliament (MP). This might be to ask him or her to:
- read and commit to the pledges in one of our manifestos or briefings
- invite them to attend a meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group of Hospice and Palliative Care
- submit a written or oral question in parliament
- discuss how they intend to vote in a given debate
- sign an Early Day Motion (EDM) that concerns end of life care (NB: if your MP is a Minister he or she won’t be able to sign the EDM but you can still ask them for their views on it)
- intervene in your area if there is a problem with a local service
How to contact your MP

You can either send a letter in the post or email them. Email addresses can be found here: www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/mps
MPs only guarantee responses to their constituents so always remember to include your full address on your letter or email
Finally, please remember to let us know that you've written and if you receive a response!
